Justine Schofield heats up Perth kitchens!

Celebrity cook Justine Schofield is heading to Perth in early November to showcase some of WA best food products.

And better still, members of the public will be able to recreate the dishes at home!

Partnering up with the Department of Agriculture and Food’s “Buy West Eat Best” program, JVG Events and Joondalup Lakeside Shopping City, Justine will create sumptuous and mouth-watering dishes using food grown right here in WA.

The public can then have a go themselves with a special ‘Try this @ Home’ show bag.

These bags will contain all local ingredients and the recipe needed to recreate Justine’s dishes at home. Then they can submit photographs of their attempts for a chance to win some great prizes.

The event will take place on Friday 6th November from 10:30 am in Station Square at Lakeside Joondalup.

JVG Events director Johanna Garnett comments, ‘From viewing Justine on MasterChef programme, it was obvious that she has a passion for cooking dishes using produce that is fresh and local. She was a great choice to launch our Try this @ Home Series of cookery events and we look forward to working with her.’

Department of Agriculture and Food’s, Nerida Bowden says “The ‘Buy West Eat Best’ program is a fantastic way for consumers to know they are supporting local farmers. When they see the logo they know they are buying food that has been grown, farmed and fished right here in Western Australia. We are very excited to see what delicious recipes Justine will create using a fantastic selection of our local goodies during her visit to Perth!”
