You may have heard of our exciting Winter Workshop for Small Landholders between July 10-12 Bridgetown 2009 A recent website upgrade has changed our internet links, so we thought we'd take the opportunity to update you on the workshop.  Our apologies for any inconvenience if you've checked the website out already or received a cross posting. 
 
Are you wondering what climate change means for you on your small landholding? What about "peak oil"?  Climate change and peak oil will both potentially impact on you and your small farm or landholding.   If you are concerned about the implications for you through climate change - attend the "Winter workshop" your first stop to planning for climate change.  Registration fees are $100 per couple or $60 per single, (to cover catering costs) plus accommodation.  Places are limited book now!  This is a fantastic investment of your time to find out where your starting point should be for planning for climate change.

 In  the afternoon you will be able to take part in one of three farm visits looking at   "Annual Cropping / Organic Production " ;   " Sustaining Pasture Productivity " ; or   " Maintaining Remnant Vegetation & Biodiversity "

My Stock Healthy in a Changing Environment 
Keeping Weeds at Bay in a Changing Environment
 
Keeping on Top of Changing Insect Distribution
 
Keeping Feral Animals Under Control
 
What is in Store For Small Landholders in the Emission Trading Scheme?
 
Improving Property Bushfire Preparedness 
In the afternoon you will have a choice of field trips to discuss; Profitable Livestock Production;  Farm Forestry; or Profitable Perennial Crops .
