The Location
- Leeman is a beautiful coastal town on the 'Turquoise Coast'.
- Well known for its local crayfishing industry, Leeman is also a great place
- for watersports such a swimming, fishing, snorkelling, boating and windsurfing.
- Easter in Leeman is festive with activities including the 'Gala Day' carnival and Fish Auction on the foreshore.
- A popular spot with holidaymakers it is close to salt lakes and secluded beaches while being approximately only 300km from Perth.
- With close proximitey to Jurien Bay, Green Head, Cervantes, Eneabba and Dongara and just over 1 hour from the City of Geraldton, Leeman is becoming increasingly popular.
Further Information
My husband and I are a young couple working long hours and are currently living and working 3.5 hours north of Perth in a small coastal town. I am currently on maternity leave from my job as I gave birth to a beautiful daughter in late April 2009.
As I wish to return to work and both my husbands and my own jobs demand longs hours of 12 hours per day plus travel this would be impossible without the support of a nanny.
Our Daughter
Amelia is a terrific baby and although born 6 weeks prematurely has continued to grow as normal and has slept through the night since coming home from hospital.
- Amelia is bottle fed and has just started on solids and has an easy to follow routine.
- She goes to be no later than 8.30pm each night and consistently sleeps through to 7am.
The Role
- Ideally the position would be for a Permanent Full time Live-in Nanny/Housekeeper however we would also consider a Permanant Full time Live-in Nanny.
- The role would consist of Full time care for Amelia during the day and on-call throughout the night.
- The roster will be either on a two weeks on/one week off basis but will most likely be a one week on/one week off basis but this is yet to be confirmed.
- Aside from normal childcare/housekeeping duties we would also require some meals to be prepared.
- The Nanny will need their own car to drive to and from Perth to Leeman when required to commence work as we will be unable to pick up/drop off to and from Perth.
- We have a two year old staffy who is fantastic with people but as she is an inside dog it would be desirable for the nanny to at the very least, like animals, but ideally to feed/walk her when we are at work.
Board & a fully-furnished room will be provided for the nanny.
If the nanny had their own special requirements, we would be more than happy to discuss this.
Age is no barrier and if you are unable to meet any of the pre-requisites we would be happy to discuss.
Role to commence late November 2009.
Remuneration to be discussed based on experience.
