Jarvis Estate is a Margaret River vineyard and wine production company, currently producing 20,000 cases of wine per annum across 7 brand names.

We require a versatile office all-rounder to manage the day to day operations of the business being:
• Bookkeeping (using MYOB)
• Stock control and costing (using Excel)
• Bottling logistics including ordering labels, liaising with bottling line, winery and freight companies.
• Processing wine orders (both wholesale and retail), requiring a few hours each week in the warehouse and occasional supervision of casual staff
• Manage the direct marketing database
• Maintain websites (in conjunction with web developer)

This is a newly created role taking over duties currently managed by the owner/operators. You must be able to work independently and will often be working alone. You will need to be super organised, able to manage a number of tasks at once and deal with the occasional crisis.

Ideally you will:
Be proficient in MYOB and Excel
Be willing and able to work alone and unsupervised
Have wine industry experience (or be willing to learn)
Be able to drive a forklift (or be willing to attend training to do so)

We envisage the role will 30 hours per week (over 4 days) and will consider flexible working arrangements to suit family and lifestyle commitments for the right person.

Remuneration will depend on experience and a generous wine allowance will apply.
Position will commence in January 2010.
